Meet Our Management
Jung Suk was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Guam with his family in 1975.
He attended Father Duenas Memorial School on Guam and later attended the University of Southern California. He moved back to Guam in 1995.
In 2000, Suk joined Nanbo Insurance. Suk was trained in all departments spanning from personal lines, claims, marketing, IT systems and underwriting.
He joined Guåhan Insurance Services, Inc. in September, 2014. He has held the position of Senior Underwriting Manager until April, 2017 and after became Deputy General Manager, overseeing Personal Lines, Underwriting and IT.
When not juggling duties at GIS, Suk enjoys spending time juggling between his wife and three daughters.

Yuka Oguma CPCU, AIS, BBA
Born in Kyoto, Japan and raised on Guam from the age of three, Yuka Oguma is the Marketing Manager of Guåhan Insurance Services. Oguma received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University of Guam in 2010. She also holds an associate’s degree in Insurances Services (AIS), and has earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Designation (CPCU) in 2016. A CPCU designation is the industry’s premier professional marker for specializing in property and casualty insurance.
Oguma is the mother of Ayana Meadow. She is also active in the community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Guam Young Professionals, and serving on the Board as President-Elect for Soroptimist International of Guam.

As Marketing Manager for Guåhan Insurance Services Inc., Oguma brings more than a decade of sales experience, extensive knowledge and dedication to the industry.
“Insurance is your partner for all walks of life,” says Oguma. “At the age of 16, when you first drive your vehicle, we are there to ensure that you and your vehicle are protected. When you’re buying your first home at the age of 30, we are right along by your side fulfilling the bank and your mortgage requirements.”
For Oguma, every asset gained, risks must be managed wisely. “When you purchase insurance, you transfer the cost of a potential loss to us. That is why my job in the Marketing Department is to deliver my clients with a better world by working collaboratively with you and your insurance needs. My job is to connect you with our underwriter associates who can assist you with your specific needs based on the risks you are exposed to. Meaningful customer engagement and building your trust is most important when it comes to my job.”

Besagar says this quote can pretty much sum up his professional life. “I left Guam to continue school in the mainland and I earned my business degree at Cerritos College, Los Angeles, California.”
He used to own an automobile repair shop in San Jose, California, back in the early 1980’s. “I dealt with many insurance adjusters coming to my shop, which gave me my first glimpse at the insurance industry and I became interested in how an insurance adjuster career would work for me,” says Besagar.
In the early 1990s Besagar returned to Guam and had the opportunity to gain experience and climb the ladder with insurance agencies/companies as a claims adjuster, senior adjuster, assistant claims manager, manager in charge of Saipan operations, manager in charge of operations in the Federated States of Micronesia and now as the Claims Manager of Guåhan Insurance Services Inc.
“Time, people, circumstances and being a faithful Christian have helped me become who I am as a person and as a seasoned claims adjuster. I am also a member of Lions Club International as a past president of Guam Marianas Lions Club and UNA VOCE choir of my parish Blessed Diego,” he says. Besagar says familiar and respectable people that he worked with early in his adjusting career who are now part of Guåhan Insurance Services Inc. made it easier for him to decide to join the rising star of the insurance industry.

Personal Lines Manager
Eden Danila was born in Pampanga, Philippines. She has lived most of her life on Guam and lives in the village of Yigo. Eden has been married for 20 years and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and dining out. Danila is an active member of her church community.
Danila started her career in retail sales when she first arrived on Guam. Later, she found a job in the insurance business which she has enjoyed and grown with. She brings almost 20 years of experience of personal insurance and underwriting to Guåhan Insurance Services, Inc. where she serves as personal lines account manager. Danila came aboard the GIS team in early 2017. She previously worked as a personal lines underwriter for Nanbo’s Insurance. Her expertise lies in automobile coverages. Danila holds a Guam Property & Casualty Insurance license.
Danila works to create customized insurance proposals for the company’s personal insurance clientele. Her primary emphasis is to offer the best customer service, retaining her clients and bringing new clients on board. She and the personal insurance team ensure a detailed and personalized approach to clients, building a thorough understanding of their needs and to assist the client at customizing a plan based on their needs. Danila feels that by proposing competitive rates and upholding great service ensures customer satisfaction. Her underwriting focus enables her to communicate effectively with the company’s carrier partners for a most efficient and satisfactory experience through all points of contact.
Remaining focused on providing quality service at all times, Danila’s greatest strengths are accuracy and attention to detail. She is dedicated to meeting the needs of all clients and helping them obtain peace of mind. It is most important to her that her clients feel valued with the level of service she provides.
